The Press Play on Tape (PPOT) lads are back again, and this time they have taken one prisoner, Mr Mark Cassar from Retro Domination and +3 To Geekdom fame! Mark gives an insight into his gaming past, while Alex Boz goes gaga over Mark’s love of arcade games and loathsomeness for Zelda. The PPOT crew and their special guest discuss their favourite gaming genres on 8 and 16-bit systems, with Daz delighting all with genre-busting games you may have not heard of or played before.
As per usual, the publisher of choice segment was another animated discussion, this time, the honour of choosing the publisher was given to Mark – no, it wasn’t Capcom, Mark chose the hit maker, System 3. With lots of games to choose from, there was no shortage of classics on offer, with IK+ and Last Ninja (among many others) getting the bulk of the votes. So rewind the tape, press play and kick back to another classic PPOT podcast!

It’s not much fun getting caught with your pants down, especially in public. It’s also not a good idea to drop your dacks willingly in any situation. It’s just not socially acceptable. However in a video game, that’s a different story.
Archer Maclean’s smash hit sequel to International Karate, IK+ improved on its predecessor in many ways – from the visuals, gameplay aspects, to the built in Easter eggs!
IK+ gave the player the opportunity to mess with their fighters in amusing ways – by making them drop their trousers! The trouser drop was performed by pressing the S and E keys together on the keyboard. The expression on the fighters’ faces when they realised they had been caught with their pants down was priceless. Truly a classic moment in video gaming.
