SNES and Famicom PVM All-In-One Consoles!

June 7, 2022 By ausretrogamer

Being fans of Swedish outfit, Love Hultén, there is no shortage of retro gear they make that make us drool!

Their latest creations, the SNES-PVM and Famicom Computer(FC)-PVM all-in-one systems combine a 9″ Sony Trinitron PVM-9042QM monitor with genuine Super Famicom and Famicom consoles – which are absolutely gorgeous!

An Amazing Custom Pac-Man Analog Synthesizer

February 1, 2022 By ausretrogamer

These folks at Swedish uber design group, Love Hultén, sure know how to catch our attention (again!) and make our jaw drop!

Just check out this Pac-Man themed analogue synthesizer based on the Korg Minilogue – it’s darn amazing! Oh yeah, the chiptunes it generates are equally as awesome!

Love Hultén: Drool-worthy Gaming Creations

December 4, 2018 By ausretrogamer

We have featured Love Hultén previously, so we thought we’d share more of their other drool-worthy one-of-a-kind gaming creations!

If you didn’t know, Love Hultén (LH) fuses traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, creating unique objects in an unexpected merge of form and function. By playing with preconceptions about art and design – the social, cultural and historical relations to objects we all share – LH tears consensual connections apart and provides a new context. Love Hultén presents genuine and attractive alternatives to contemporary appliances, adding unforeseen functionality, delicate execution and mystique.

You have to agree, these are mind-blowingly beautiful and just simply sublime!

Love Hultén: Fusing Modern And Traditional

October 17, 2015 By Ms. ausretrogamer

We’ve written about Swedish designer and craftsman, Love Hultén’s elegant retro arcade, the R-Kaid-R, before – but that’s only the beginning. Hultén creates stunning electronic devices by fusing modern technology with traditional artisan knowledge. Everything is produced, polished, and assembled in his one-man studio in Gothenburg, Sweden.
