We love finding these promo videos of arcade games we used to love and play at amusement centres back in the day.
The below promotional video is for Sega’s Scud Race arcade game from 1996. Scud Race (Sports Car Ultimate Drive) was also known as Sega Super GT in North America.
Oh yeah, keep an ear out on how “Sega” is pronounced in this promo video – long live See-gah!

Who doesn’t love a 10 minute promo video for a (then) new pinball machine!
We know this is OLD news, but who doesn’t like seeing this again?
After clicking through the amazing images of pinball machines (below), you’ll be blown away by the drone videos by live streaming producer, Eddie Codel, of the mass of pinball machines at the Pacific Pinball Museum (PPM) Annex!
To the casual observer, pinball seems random and chaotic, but if you watch carefully, there are skills involved that make pinball not as random as it seems.
This is an interesting 17 minute video indeed. Mat Taylor (aka: Techmoan) delves into the history of transparent electronic devices used in US Prisons, from cassette players, cassette tapes, radios to headphones and televisions – it’s a clear case of nostalgia! OK, we’ll see ourselves out.
We got to say, we absolutely played the heck out of anything Epyx made and published for the Commodore 64 back in the day. Still can’t believe they are gone, so this complete history of the once mighty Epyx, from their simple beginnings in 1978 until their fall in 1990, it is a great trip down nostalgia lane.
Now this is so funny and so clever, so we had to share it with you all! The sound effects are hilariously spot on!!
That Alex Reynolds (aka: Alexpletives on Twitter) has surprised us once again!
