Yes, another pinball related post. Ohhhh c’mon, it’s not that bad, we promise you’ll enjoy this one too!
As we are (a tad) obsessed with pinball, when we found out that pinball and LEGO go really well together, we had to let you know what we had found. If you are a talented and mechanically minded LEGO creator, like Teun de Wijs (aka: YouTuber TonyFlow76), you build a fully kinetic depiction of a pinball player flipping one of the greatest machines of all time, Attack From Mars!
For those that want to delve under the covers, Teun states that he used a few new techniques to build this awesomeness:
Hopefully Teun submits this to LEGO Ideas – we’d vote the heck out of it. Anyway, all we can say is, press play and return to battle soldier!

This Lego Donkey Kong arcade machine by Aussie Lego building sensation, Kale Frost (aka: Frostbricks), could easily be an awesome Lego Ideas entrant! If it were, we would vote the heck out of it (and so would all of you). We shall pray to the Lego gods that we’ll see this kit on a toy shelf one day! Absolutely love the level of detail Frostbricks has gone to on this one-of-a-kind Lego production.
Oh yeah, if you want to check out other brilliant Lego (Brick Built Creations) by Frostbricks hit Kale’s site and Instagram right now! You can thank us later 😉

When you stumble upon an awesome idea you must let everyone know about it. My good friend Raj informed me of a Lego Ideas campaign created by SpacySmoke which proposes the creation of classic Lego Sega arcade machines.
The idea campaign is still gathering support, so if you would like Lego to take note, then please throw your support behind this great idea by voting now – who wouldn’t like a Thunder Blade or Yu Suzuki classics like Space Harrier and Out Run replica Lego machines in their home? I have cast my vote, so should you!

Back in the 80s we loved playing with Lego and on our Commodore 64. So what a better way than to mash these two into one and create the Brixty Four – a full-size working Lego Commodore 64, complete with a functioning sprung keyboard, power pack, working LED light and a replica LEGO mobo (Ed: motherboard!) with all of the famous MOS chips, including Bob Yannes’ brilliant SID chip!
If you want Christian Simpson’s (aka: Perifractic) awesome Lego C64 to become mass produced, then go to Lego Ideas and show your support by giving it a vote right now!

Just like Elaine Benes of Seinfeld fame once said, “I am without speech”. Well, if Elaine was to see these Minifigs in the Game On! range, she’d probably be speechless yet again!
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, there we said it! With these mini arcade cabinets resembling the classics with some clever title manipulation like Puc-Mun, Dankey Kang and Brick Invaders, you are sure to unleash your inner mini retro gamer. Made with loving detail, these old arcade machines even come with their corresponding game screens too!
Oh yeah, your mini arcade machines will also need mini players, so with the likes of Lara Croft, Chun Li, Ryu and Solid Snake, you should be set!

Ms ausretrogamer and I hit spa country in north western Victoria on a fine winter’s day a few weekends ago.
From the Daylesford Sunday Market to local vintage bazaars and The Amazing Mill Markets in Ballarat and Daylesford, we found vintage goodies that warmed our cockles.
